An experienced strategic communications specialist, at Mach Media I execute crisis communication, copywriting, press and public relations, and provide media training.
I bring more than 25 years of marketing/communications experience in Belgium, working across fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) with companies like 3M, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Panos, Carrefour, Marlow Foods, Kraft Foods; and in the pharmaceutical industry with Eurogenerics, 3M Pharma, Federal Institute for Public Health, Federal Agency for Food Safety. Additionally, I was Director and Spokesman for the Bureau du Champagne Benelux for 15 years.
For 10 years (1995-2004) I was Account Director and Head of Consumer Affairs for Porter Novelli in Belgium. In 2004 I created my own company “Breaking News”. I am also member of SoContent, a collective of communications specialists, based in Ghent. Together, with 4 partners, we share a team of 11 people working in public relations, events, and media training.
I am Belgian and draw on my Master in Communication from the University of Ghent (1994).
